well, this is definitely in my short list of places to photograph a wedding in philadelphia. i found what looked like a small maple tree out front and turned it into one of my all time favorite photo locations! ig @iamthesam
Cherry Blossoms time is a great time to visit this park in the midst of Philadelphia. So many of them spread around and they burst with flowers a few days apart. Was there early April and the rest of the park was still coming to life. Plenty of free parking. There is no entrance fee - the Japanese garden has though. The glass arboretum was closed due to a private event, so check the calendar before visiting.
I was there for the cheery blossom festival and it was a pleasant experience. There was ample parking for a small fee adjacent the park. For bathrooms, the park had adequate supply of mobile toilets for those who could use them. Overall, a great experience! The performances were my favorite part of the experience.
A great place to visit, do bring a blanket to sit or lie on or some chairs to rest under the trees watching the sakura falling off at the gentle breeze. A good time to remember
Oh, oh, wow! Is all I can say! Came here for a movement and meditation class and left here feeling zen! BEAUTIFUL PLACE to have any type of function you'd like.

Our wedding was at the Fairmount Horticultural Center in October. The day was absolutely magical! Every single detail came together in a way that absolutely exceeded every expectation that I ever had for my wedding! It was just perfect in every way. My family and friends couldn’t get over the space and how different it was from your typical wedding. I need to say that Gail helped us navigate moving our wedding due to Covid and answered every frantic email I had to finalizing the details. For the day of Adam Fisher was the MVP he was incredibly helpful and since I didn’t have a coordination stepped up on a huge way for us. I will forever be great full for the hard work and attention to detail for the whole team there! They made my day perfect and I didn’t worry about a single thing! Thank you from my husband myself and my whole family for an experience of a lifetime!
I went to Fairmount Park to see the Edible Landscape Demonstration Garden specifically. I took my bike to explore but this Park is so huge that it will take many hours to see what all is offered here. My next step is to obtain a Park map to help me make sense of it all.
Beautiful place to come to, especially in the spring when cherry blossoms are in bloom. Located close to Shofuso Japanese house, the park has several places to walk around, click photos, beautiful flowers and plants and the place is always active with something or the other like dance, performances and so on. Though in the middle of Philadelphia, it gives no hint of the bustling city outside.
